June 2008 Sanden Mexicana Acquisition Sanden Corporation, a leading designer and manufacturer of compressors and other AC components, and Sanden International USA Inc (SIA) acquired 100% ownership of Sanden Mexicana (SMX) located in Saltillo, Mexico. SMX began operations in 1984 as a joint venture between Jorge Rosenfeld, SIA and Sanden Corporation. Today, SMX employs more than 200 associates and produces automotive components for Magna International, Formex, Hilite International, Intier and SIA.
