Volkswagen de Mexico awarded Sanden International (USA), Inc. with the prestigious "VW Group Award", recognizing our global excellence and performance through our cooperation, commitment and dedication during 2010. Based on this criteria, a selected group of suppliers are proposed by a Volkswagen committee formed by Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics, Quality, Service Parts, Plant Engineering and Production.

The event took place in Atlixco, Puebla, Mex. where Volkswagen de Mexico honored 15 suppliers with the award in the 9th. edition of this now, traditional event. Out of these suppliers, 11 are direct materials suppliers and 4 of them are non-productive material suppliers. On this occasion, Sanden International (USA), Inc. was the only A/C system related supplier earning the award. Supplier base at VW Mexico is formed by more than 120 suppliers.

The award was presented by Andreas Heinrich, President of the Executive Board of Volkswagen de Mexico and received by Mark Ulfig, President of Sanden International (USA), Inc.
